St. Michael’s Prayer League

St. Michael’s Prayer League is an apostolate of the Catholic Church. Members of the Prayer League are especially dedicated to praying for our spiritual leaders, our Patriarch, our priests, monastics, and lay brothers and sisters.

In addition to the regular daily prayers and the Little Office of the B.V.M., we pray the Franciscan Crown once per day. We also pray the Our Father and Angelus at 6:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Before an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

In the name of the + Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation.
But deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

Sweet Heart of Jesus, grant that I may love Thee ever more.

In the name of the + Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
(Prayed three times each day)

The Galilean Remnant Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us.
Blessed Mother of Galilee, intercede for us.
Saints James, Simeon, Justus, Zaccheus, Tobias,
Benjamin, John, Matthias, Philip, Senecas,
Justus, Levis, Ephram, Joseph, and Judas pray for us.

I confess unto thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent,
and hast revealed them to the little ones.
Yea, Father; for so hath it seemed good in thy sight.

We vow not to turn away, nor break thy commandments,
nor join in union with the People of Abominations.

And now has our prayer been made before the Lord our God
to leave us a remnant, and give us a pin in his holy place,
and that our God would enlighten our eyes,
and would give us a little life in our bondage.

The remnants of the people are saved
the Lord hath fought among the valiant ones.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle,
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou,
O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God,
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
